We are proud of our undergraduate program in Communication. The National Commission on Higher Education Issues cites oral communication as one of the primary attributes human resource directors, recruiters, and hiring officers seek in new employees. The Gourman report ranks the undergraduate program at the University of Missouri-Columbia as 8th out of 307 institutions. These rankings take into account the quality of the faculty, students, and curriculum. The University of Missouri-Columbia ranks highest among the Big 12 universities in Speech programs.
