Dr. Lissa Behm-Morawitz, Associate Professor of Mediated Communication has been appointed Assistant Vice Provost for Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs in the University of Missouri’s Office of Graduate Studies.

In this senior leadership position, Dr. Behm-Morawitz will help lead graduate education and postdoctoral training across Mizzou. She will serve as advisor, advocate, and liaison for University of Missouri graduate students and postdoctoral scholars, develop and maintain communication and relations with Directors of Graduate Study across campus, coordinate graduate orientation events, help develop and oversee graduate and postdoctoral professional development opportunities, and facilitate internal and external fellowship and award applications for graduate students. 

Dr. Behm-Morawitz previously served as the Department of Communication’s Associate Chair and Director of Graduate studies.
