The College of Arts and Science recently held a celebration to honor faculty excellence, staff success, and alumni achievement. Among the distinguished recipients was Dr. Haley Kranstuber Horstman, who was awarded Associate Professor of the Year under the faculty awards category.
Dr. Horstman, an associate professor in the College of Arts and Science’s Communication Department, has received numerous accolades for her outstanding scholarship and teaching. She teaches courses in family and interpersonal communication, and her research is focused on how families communicate to make sense of their adversity and diversity. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, she serves as the Director of International Programs in the department, where she has made a significant impact.
The awards were presented by the College of Arts and Science leadership team, who conducted surprise visits to recognize some of the college's top faculty and staff. This event celebrated the remarkable achievements of the honorees and emphasized the college’s commitment to excellence.
