Hannah Grace Wilkinson is a first-year student in the Department of Communication at Mizzou. An Alabama native, she obtained her B.S. degree from Troy University and her M.A. degree from Auburn University, both in communication. Her research interests lie in the intersection of stigma, interpersonal communication, health communication, and disability studies. Thus far, her research has primarily focused on how high-masking autistic women encounter and interact with interpersonal and structural stigma through the use of qualitative methods. She has presented some of this research at NCA and was awarded the Gayle K. Christopher Scholarship for her interest in health communication in 2025.

Hannah Grace also prioritizes student learning and confidence while being a graduate instructor of record for public speaking at Mizzou. She’s passionate about making every student feel accepted, supported, and challenged in the classroom. As a two-time winner of the Troy University Informative Speaking Competition, she uses real life experience and examples to connect with her students.

Outside of school, Hannah Grace enjoys watching reality tv, attending concerts, playing video games, and hanging out with her cat.
