Abigail Adediran, a PhD candidate in Communication at the Department of Communication, University of Missouri. She has taught diverse courses including public speaking, health communication, and persuasion across diverse modalities. Her research uses a culture-centered perspective and African onto-epistemologies to explore the complexities in communication and health management processes within African immigrants’ families and the impact of these complexities on their well-being. Her research can be found in Health Communication, Western Journal of Communication, Language and Intercultural Communication amongst others.
