Jennifer “Jenn” Brown is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication with an emphasis in organizational communication.  

Jenn received a BA in physics from Westminster College in Fulton, MO, a BS in applied science in chemical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a MS in college student personnel from Western Illinois University. 

For the last 15 years, Jenn has been a student affairs professional at the University of Missouri and is currently the director of K-20 access and outreach initiatives within the College of Education and Human Development. The culmination of academic and professional experiences drives her scholarly interest in how communication constitutes organizations and culture, with a particular focus on the construction of leaders and leadership.
