Brett Dinkins (BA, 12) is a consultant with Victory Enterprises, a national political management and media consulting firm. Before entering the private sector with Victory Enterprises, Dinkins spent 6 years working in the Missouri House of Representatives including working through two administrations in the House Speaker’s Office. Dinkins left his service in the Speaker’s Office to work on a Gubernatorial transition team and then serve as the Legislative Director for the Missouri Department of Economic Development. While at Mizzou, Dinkins worked for the Office of Admissions, Residential Life, and was tapped as a member of the Mortar Board society. Dinkins was awarded the Mel Carnahan Fellowship for graduate school and worked on his Master of Public Affairs at the Harry S. Truman School of Public Affairs. During his graduate studies, Dinkins was tapped into the Rollins Society. Dinkins remains actively involved with the American Legion Missouri Boys State program and currently serves on the executive committee of the Board of Directors for Missouri Community Betterment—the nation’s oldest rural community development nonprofit that assists with rural community development in the state of Missouri.
