Bio
I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication at the University of Missouri. I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from the National Defense University in Taiwan. My research interests center on political communication. Methodologically, I am especially interested in quantitative research and data science–based approaches, including survey experiments and natural language processing.
I am currently a member of the Political Communication Institute (PCI). My ongoing research examines authoritarian propaganda, political polarization, and democratic backsliding, with an emphasis on how strategic communication and information manipulation influence attitudes, affect, and democratic resilience.
