Criteria for all faculty members:

• Faculty must be active in research and publication
• Must have successfully completed the University-provided mentor training prior to applying for doctoral status

Additional criteria for new faculty members:

• Must have already been admitted to Graduate Faculty
• Must have taught at least one doctoral seminar successfully

Additional criteria for faculty members up for reappointment:

• Must have continued teaching graduate seminars successfully
• Must have advised students successfully during the time since last renewal
• Must demonstrate continued professional development related to graduate student mentorship
