The chair will use each faculty members' average ratings for teaching, research, and service for the last three years to determine merit raises. For second year faculty the chair will use two year averages, and for first year faculty the chair will use the ratings for the year. The annual evaluation letter will include the faculty members' ratings for the year and the average for the last three years.
